I grew up around a wide variety of animals, and helped to take care of all my childhood dogs, cats, and rodents, I even trained our first dog on my own at the age of 8! As I got older I walked both him and our other dog (both Rhodesian Ridgebacks) regularly, until they passed away a few years ago. I cared for the family cats, feeding them and cleaning their litter trays, and I was regularly asked to dog sit for my extended family, until i moved away a few months ago. I carried out a week of work experience at a vets when I was 15, in which I cared for a number of ill animals. I have also volunteered at dog training classes, both adult dog and puppy sessions, so have experience handling all ages. I have a CPD certificate in companion animal behaviour, and have completed the first year of a university course titled "Human-Animal Interaction" at Hartpury University. During this year I volunteered with the collection of animals the university has on site, ranging from rabbits and guinea pigs, to giant tortoises, to reptiles.
