I currently work with dogs all through the week with walking, training support, doggy day care and sitting so this is what i do. Depending on the needs of your fur baby depends on how I work my week to be either around them or fully inclusive of them. They are more then welcome to join in on group walks, have fun and socialise with others or to be walked solo and have one on one time with me. Animals dont have a one size fits all, I want to make them feel as comfortable as possible so can tailor things to suit.

I like to do a meet and greet before a stay where possible. At this i get to meet your loved one and them me. Here I will ask likes, dislikes, routines, any health concerns, eating schedules and anything else that will make their stay as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
A typical day for me depends on who I have around that day. I would typically go for a walk in the morning with Bruce (our dog) and who ever is with me. Then do additional walking for any regulars i have, if the dog i am sitting is happy to be sociable then we can do this instead of the morning walk. Depending on the weather and dogs abilities, we may go on another walk when my partner gets home from work. We like to book enclosed fields from time to time as well so that they can get a real sense of freedom.

I’ve been helping friends and family look after their pets for years, and it’s always been something I’ve loved doing. Over time, I realised it was something I wanted to do more often — not just for those I know, but for anyone who needs a caring, reliable place for their dog to stay. I try to make our space feel as relaxed and welcoming as possible — a true home away from home. There are cosy beds dotted around the house, and every dog is free to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, or we can follow your usual routine if you have one. We enjoy daily walks, plenty of playtime, mental stimulation with puzzles, and of course, lots of cuddles. From time to time, we book enclosed fields so your pup can safely run and explore off-lead. Whether it’s a short stay or a longer visit, your dog will be cared for just like one of our own — with love, attention, and a wagging tail guaranteed.

Fay looked after our elderly lab Rosie whilst we were on holiday for a week at the end of September. Rosie is 15 going on 16 and is extremely nervous of new situations and routines so Fay came round to meet Rosie a few times before she looked after her to gain Rosie's trust and make her feel comfortable. Whilst we were away Fay sent us daily videos of Rosie with Fay, interacting with other dogs on her walks to re-assure us that she was having a great time. Fay is extremely professional caring and understands dogs and their needs extremely well and I wouldn't hesitate to leave Rosie in her care or recommend Fay's services to other people.
My dog Tina stayed with Fay for a week whilst I was on holiday . She had an amazing time , lots of activities, loads of love and first rate care . I received regular updates with photos and videos so I could she what a great time she was having . I would highly recommend Fay and will definitely be using the service again
I can’t thank Fay enough for the love and care she gives my Ronnie. He adores his walks with her and was so happy staying with her while I was on holiday. Fay truly is a wonderful person inside and out.
I have no second thoughts about recommending Fay to look after any dog, be it for an hour or a month. Due to a house purchase falling through then conveyancing for this home taking months longer than expected Fay was amazing. Nothing was a problem even though she ended up looking after Hope our Rottie puppy for 3 months longer than first agreed.
