Night out on the Towne Dog Boarding
We are excited to provide care for your small and medium sized non-shedding dogs in McKenzie Towne and area while you are having a vacation of your own. We have a fenced backyard area and are committed to giving your dog plenty of pee breaks as well as pack walks each day. Plus lots of love and cuddles! We have years and years of experience with dogs. We have previously volunteered as a foster family for rescue dogs with Pawsitive Match and Fur-ever Homes and have successfully trained and placed 6 dogs in loving homes. Please note that due to allergies we can only accept non-shedding dogs. Your dog(s) must be good with children as we have two boys age 11 and 15. We would also prefer to do a meet-and-greet before your vacation so that we can make sure everyone gets along. We recently said goodbye to our 16-year old schnoodle Molly so at the moment we do not have a dog of our own however our house is often filled with Rover clients.

We have left Teddy and Milo with Evelyn and Geoff before as they are the only people we trust to leave our babies with. We are so truly grateful for the care that they give. Milo is our older dog who has health issues. He was exhibiting new symptoms while we were away and we were extremely stressed and worried that this was happening when we weren't there. Their communication was great, they kept us updated on how he was doing and took him to our vet to put our mind at ease. When we picked our babies up, they were happy, healthy and tired (all the things any dog parent wants). It's difficult leaving a dog, especially when it's older with health issues, but Evelyn and Geoff do everything to take care of them the way we would if were here. Would absolutely recommend them to any dog parent!
Evelyn and her family took Lucy in on short notice and provided excellent care. We appreciated the photo updates and the peace of mind they gave us. Highly recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.
Ripley and Willow had a wonderful time. One of our dogs was initially anxious, but Evelyn and Geoff went above and beyond to help him feel comfortable. I was so glad to hear that both pups were eating and clearly enjoying themselves. Their care and dedication meant a lot to me, and it was truly comforting to know they were in such good hands.
Took such good care of my senior dog. When I picked up my dog, he was tired which means he had lots of playtime. Thank you.

Evelyn and Geoff were wonderful with our dog, Hawkins. After a little initial hesitation at the meet-and-greet, he relaxed quickly, and when we dropped him off he settled in with zero hesitation—something that has never happened before. We loved receiving photo and text updates throughout our trip, and it was clear he was having a great time. They truly cared for Hawkins like their own, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Schedule
I'm currently at home most of the time and can provide a lot of care for your pup. However there are times when I am out running errands or taking the boys to their activities so your dog needs to be able to stay on their own with other dogs in the house for 2-3 hours at a time.

I have a fully fenced in backyard and dogs are allowed on the furniture here. We are flexible and can pick up your dog or drop off if needed.
Pets
A typical day
We generally go for a morning walk after breakfast and an evening walk after dinner. If more walks are needed we'll go. Dogs are let out to the backyard every 1-2 hours during the day when someone is home. If the weather is good and the schedule allows we may take your dog on a gentle hike in kananaskis country on weekends. With permission and owners agreement we may even take your dog camping with us in the summer.
