I will follow every instruction you leave to a T. I'm a very cautious and respectful person, so if I am dog-sitting for you, I will make sure your door is locked before we go out on a walk and after I leave. If I'm cat-sitting for an indoor cat, I will make sure the litter box is cleaned and do my best to ensure that your cat is not damaging your furniture. For both dogs and cats, I will feed them on a schedule that you have set, and always ensure they have ample food and water. Most importantly, though, trust is extremely important here. I know that my cats get anxious when I'm away, and I know it's hard as an owner to feel okay about leaving your pets with someone else. I know that when I'm sitting, I'm a guest in your place, and I'll make sure I follow the house rules that you and your pets are accustomed to.

I would love to know all about your pet beforehand! Are they active? Do they pull on the leash beforehand? What do they hate? What do they like? Are they easily triggered? How do they normally react in an unfamiliar situation? Anything you want to share is definitely something I'd like to know!
A typical day
Depending on where I'm sitting, I'll visit the nearest park. For me, the nearest one would be Gantry Park, which has a lovely view of Manhattan. Usually there are other dogs out on walks, so if your dog is a friendly one and wants to meet them, they'll make a new friend that day! For cats, I have some toys that my cats don't play with that I can bring over for your cats if you don't have any at home. Despite having a reputation for being quite reserved, some cats love playtime, so if that describes your cat, rest assured that I will be keeping him/her active and engaged!

Hello! My name is Eugenia and I'd like to be your next cat or dog sitter. I love both cats and dogs and I've gotten along with most house trained pets that I've met (with the exception of some spicy cats). I understand that everyone has a different way they would like their pets to be taken care of, and I’ll follow any instructions you leave me in caring for your beloved family members. I'm my friends’ go-to pet sitter and personally help animal shelters by fostering cats, and rest assured, I'll treat your pets as if they were my own. Since I foster at my place, I would much prefer to be dog or cat sitting at yours, so that my foster cat(s) don't get spooked. I hope to get the chance to meet your pet and be their sitter.
