I grew up with a golden retriever and had him since he was 6 months old who passed in August 20' at 11 years. With my baby being old and having joint/hip issues as well as cancer, I have experience taking care of dogs of older age. In college, I took in a west highland terrier puppy since he was 5months untill he was about 1 year so do have experience was younger animals as well. I recently had a Akita that we rescued who crossed over May 24. He was rescued at 4 years old and we had him until 13 years old. He came from an abusive family and was very malnourished. He was an incredibly loving soul dog named Simba, and was registered as an emotional support animal who loved other dogs. I have experience in rescue animals which include administering medication, handling animals that are not trained/obedient, etc. I have petsat for breed such as king charles cavalier, maltese, terrier, pitbull, akita, german shepards, goldens, jack russell, etc. My husband works full time at home 5 days a week and I have a hybrid schedule. Our schedules are very flexible and we will be able to balance the schedule of your dog. Our single family home includes myself and, my husband. We live in a suburban area of Manchester, off the roads/highways, and plenty of sidewalk spaces. It has a small park at the end of our community that is walkable as well. Our yard is partially fenced with a deck that is gated.
