I have dog training experience and good handler presence. I have a dog of my own that I can bring along if your dog(s) like company. I always practice safe handling when around stranger dogs (no on leash meetings). I am also happy to care for your cat as I am a cat mom of 8 years.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues. I am happy to work with any dog as long as they don’t have a bite history that puts me at risk.

I believe it’s important to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. Hikes with plenty of sniff time, tug of war and fetch are all great physical outlets. These can be mentally stimulating as well of some obedience is incorporated. Teaching dogs to respect the leash and not pull is an amazing way to mentally stimulate your dog as well.

I am a dog trainer and I volunteer at a local shelter. I have plenty of experience with puppies. I have a young and rambunctious American Labrador Retriever as well as a tortoise shell cat who has been with me through my 20s.

Erica is great with pets! Not only does she train dogs but she and has one of her own who she cares for very much. I've spent time with her with my own dogs and she is very caring and good at tuning into their needs. I definitely recommend using Erica to care for your dog.
I can’t recommend Erica enough! I initially found her for dog training. She worked with my dog Palmer on leash walking skills, effective playtime, and reactivity. He responded so well to her, and she has since watched him while I’ve been away. During her stay, she reinforced all of Palmers training and he was engaged and challenged the whole weekend! It also helps that he LOVES her!! In addition, she is training her service dog Aero, and watching them work together is so impressive. I highly recommend Erica to care for your dog!
Erica helped me tremendously with training my very own first first pup Ahmi! Erica definitely knows to respect boundaries and she understands how animals process thoughts and I’m happy she was able to help me understand all that as well throughout all of our training. I greatly appreciate all the effort she has put into me and my dog and I know that if I ever need it, Ahmi would be in the best of hands if we need a pet sitter!
