I have recently graduated from Cal Poly SLO and am home full-time as I prepare to attend graduate school in the fall. Pet care would be a wonderful way to fill my excess of free time. I will be able to make any pets in my care my main priority!

Pets will be entertained and offered affection under my care. I love to take regular walks, pets will be offered frequent potty breaks, water, and playtime. There are several dog parks and beaches in my area. I am sympathetic to the needs of animals and can easily follow the instructions of their owners. I prefer to pet sit at the owners home and am able to provide regular check ins, overnight care, walks, dog park visits, feedings, administer medications, and many other services!

I am very flexible in how I interact with animals based on their specific personalities and needs. With higher energy dogs I love to hit the dog beach and run around! However, with pets that require a gentler environment I am happy to take walks or just spend time.

As a lover of all creatures big and small, I have experience caring for of a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, gerbils, tortoises, geckos, and more. I am fortunate to be close friends with the owners of an animal sanctuary devoted to saving abused factory farm animals. Spending time on the sanctuary has allowed me to develop expertise in animal care that I otherwise would not have. I have regularly pet sit for friends and family since I was in my teens and am now taking the service public as many of our longtime animal friends have passed. I have experience caring for senior pets, including dogs and cats who are blind and/or deaf. I also recently fostered a cattle dog puppy named Syd for three months after finding her abandoned in farm country. I am happy to report she has found a wonderful forever home (but we miss her of course). I have done plenty of overnight care for both cats and dogs, including pets with health needs that require medications and/or specialty care.

Emma is the nicest and was the absolute BEST with our dog, Lola! She gave us multiple updates and Lola was clearly loving her mini vacation while she was with Emma for the weekend. Will absolutely be reaching out again the next time we have a trip!

Emma was wonderful with our three dogs! We did a meet and greet a week before our trip and our dogs, even our anxious chihuahua, calmed down immediately around her energy. Emma is professional, very communicative, and clearly knows and cares a lot for animals. We felt secure that our dogs would be well taken care of. They clearly had a good time. We will certainly be booking Emma again for our pet sitting needs!
Josie had the best day with Emma!! It was clear how much she cared for her and worked to help her calm down through a little period of separation anxiety. Would definitely recommend!
