I have been caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds since I was a kid. And I have been housesitting for neighbors and others since I was a teenager. My pet care experience includes giving medications such as eye drops, ear drops, and oral medicine, including for my own dog on a daily basis. I am also accustomed to helping senior dogs with mobility issues. And if your dog requires long walks, my dog and I love them too.

Emily took wonderful care of our pup Mara. We reached out very last minute for a weekend sitting request, and Emily even found time to meet us for a meet and greet the day before we dropped Mara off. She sent regular updates on how Mara was doing, and she was clearly having a great time with her, Emily’s dog Osito, and Emily’s son. Would 100% book with Emily again!
Emily is absolutely fantastic! I reached out to her at the last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating and kind. You can tell immediately that she truly loves animals. She went above and beyond to make sure my boy felt right at home, and he had such a blast playing with her pup. I am so grateful she could help us out on such short notice. I highly recommend her to anyone!
Emily was so great with our dog, Gertie. She sent photos every day, along with an update. Gertie was happy to get cuddles and was well taken care of.
Emily was absolutely amazing with Zola! I got a lot of photo updates and reassurance that she was well taken care of while I was away! I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her. Zola came home in a very good mood.

Schedule
I am an elementary teacher during the school year. I am available for drop-in cat visits after school and for long walks or dog park visits after school. I am almost always around on the weekends and during holidays, so I'm a good option if you need to get away for a couple days on the weekend or longer during school holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
I am an experienced house sitter who will treat your home and animals like they are my own. And if you would prefer to leave your animal with me, I live in close proximity to a park where I take my dog every day to run off leash.
Pets
A typical day
We have lots of squeaky toys and balls to play with inside and lots of grass and a backyard stream to sniff and explore outside. When it's hot, we also have small doggy pools on the porch to cool off in. For dogs that need time off leash, we will go to a nearby dog park. For animals that need the security a leash provides, we'll walk around the neighborhood or maybe on Cottonwood Trail.
