Hello! I’m an experienced and dependable pet lover with a background in both professional animal care and hands-on pet ownership. I currently have four dogs of my own and regularly pet sit for friends and coworkers, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets! I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic, where I cared for pets boarding for medical reasons and gained experience administering medications to both dogs and cats (pills, liquids, sprays, and injections). I’ve also worked at a dog kennel, managing daily care for 20+ dogs and cats at a time, including feeding, cleaning, and walks—so I’m very comfortable with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. Additionally, I was a puppy raiser for a service dog organization, where I raised two dogs for service work—one of whom became a guide dog. I later became an Area Coordinator, mentoring other puppy raisers, organizing training sessions, and helping ensure puppies stayed on track with their medical, developmental, and socialization needs. I’ve also worked at a pet store where I cared for a wide range of animals including fish, reptiles, and rodents, handling everything from feeding to habitat cleaning and basic health care. Professionally, I’m a wildlife biologist, so I’m very comfortable handling animals and paying close attention to their behavior, safety, and well-being. I work from home full time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable care during weekdays and weekends.
