I have 12 years of professional experience caring for all types of animals! I currently work for the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program and previously worked for many years at the Dumb Friends League (now Humane Colorado) in Denver, providing hands-on care for dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve also provided dog walking and pet sitting professionally, as well as for friends and family. I’m experienced with medicating pets (oral and injectable) and comfortable caring for special needs animals, including those with behavioral challenges such as fear, dog aggression, or leash reactivity. I’m passionate about animal welfare and making sure every pet I care for feels safe, happy, and loved. My husband and I live in New Castle, CO with our pug, Biscuit, and our cat, Charlie!

Emily was a great communicator while we were away and did a great job with our two pups!
Emily is excellent. She checked in with me each day and treated my dog with the love she needs. I was able to trust her with my dog and my home when I was not there. She arrived on the agreed time and dates and helped my dog during long work days when I had no one else to make sure my dog could relieve herself.
Emily was great. Checked In frequently and was very attentive to my pups! Will definitely ask Emily to come back for future sitting.
When it comes to leaving my pets, I'm always a bundle of anxiety before my trip. Luckily, I know my pets are in the best hands with Emily. Emily's expertise in animal welfare directly translates to the care she provides to the animal she cares for. She is communicative, timely, and goes above and beyond. You can leave knowing your pets will get the best care possible with Emily. She is the absolute best!
Emily has cat-sat for me for many years. She stuck with me even when one of my cats needed meds twice a day. Emily not only pilled, fed and scooped cat boxes, but she would also spend some time with the cats to play with and pet them. She would go the extra mile to ensure the cats were taken care of and to also let me know they were thriving under her care. Emily is great with animals and I highly recommend her.

I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available when pets need me, making sure I can give them plenty of love, attention, and care.
