Caring Corgi Mom 🐾
I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and grew up with German Shepherds. For the past 11 years, I’ve regularly cared for my family’s corgis and have also helped friends with their dogs over the years. I currently have a friendly 7-year-old Cardigan/Pembroke corgi mix who loves other dogs. I offer a calm, loving home environment and prefer to keep things low stress and low volume so dogs get plenty of attention, affection, walks, and care while they’re here. I especially enjoy caring for small to medium dogs and understand that many pups do best in a quieter home setting rather than a large boarding environment. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone you trust, and I’ll care for your dog like they’re part of my family.

Emily and her family were absolutely lovely! Simon got lots of love, cuddles, and walks and enjoyed playing with their dog, Winston. Emily sent frequent updates and photos, so I knew my baby was thriving while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a safe, loving environment for their fur-babies.
Emily is the most wonderful pet sitter. Her care, attention to detail, follow up and professionalism reflects her love for what she does. My dog loves to go to her home which is evidence of the safe environment Emily provides. She is reliable, trustworthy and great at communication. I highly recommend her and I feel so lucky to have found her.

Harmonogram
I provide a calm, safe, and low-stress home environment and only care for up to 2 dogs at a time so each dog gets plenty of attention and supervision. I am a stay at home mom to a kindergartener, so I am in the house most of the day. I understand that every dog has different comfort levels, routines, and needs, and I do my best to help them feel at home while they’re here. Dogs will always be supervised during introductions and interactions with my corgi, and I’m happy to follow each owner’s preferences for feeding schedules, walks, sleeping arrangements, medications, and routines. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, gentle care, and close attention to behavior and mobility needs. Communication is very important to me, and I always provide updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and connected while they’re away.

For boarding, I have a small enclosed back yard off my patio for pups getting fresh air and for those that may need more frequent potty breaks. I always follow the walking, feeding, medication etc schedule that the owner gives me. Personally, I love doing a 30 minute morning, mid-afternoon, and early evening walk but some dogs may not want to or be able to go as far, and that’s ok!

A typical day may look like playing with the dog and their favorite toys, lots of snuggles (if that’s their vibe), and walks through the neighborhood and wooded trails where there are plenty of good sniffs. I am open to include trips to the dog park and/or lake and other places by car, but only if the owner permits. Dogs will never leave my home/neighborhood without the prior consent of the owner.
