Hi, my name is Emily! I've been pet sitting on Rover since July 2020 and owning pets all my life! I have experience with just about every dog breed and size there is, as well as a solid understanding of basic dog training. I speak English fluently and Finnish at a conversational level. I'm also familiar with dog vocabulary in both languages, and love talking to your pets to get those adorable head tilts! When meeting a new dog, my policy is to match their energy - an excited puppo will get scritches and love, while a more reserved or shy dog will be given space and a calm presence. I spend most of my mornings taking my dog Ässä exploring in the woods or brushing my fluffy cats on the couch, so I'll make sure your pet is just as properly loved and pampered. I'm happy to adjust to you and your pet's specific needs and schedule, whatever they may be! I aim to always give your pet the best experience possible when you're away, and I send owners lots of photos and updates during stays so you know exactly how they're doing. Please note that my photo update rate is 100%, as some owners prefer to communicate directly over text rather than through the Rover chat. When working with animals, my top priorities are safety, compassion, and fun! I'm loving and caring with all the animals I work with, not only because they deserve it, but because I know you love your pets, and I want to make sure they're getting the same level of care and attention you give them. I'm also comfortable taking care of any other pets such as birds, rodents, and reptiles. I love creating a bond with the animals I meet, so the chance to meet your furry best friend will be just as rewarding for me as it is for you and your pet. I have provided several stays over one week long, and always end up not wanting to leave! <3 I look forward to working with you and your pets!

I live with my wife and our dog Ässä. We are a drug-free, non-smoking household close to forests and hiking trails. I treat my client's homes with care and respect, and I always make sure to leave it as clean as the day I got there. If your pet enjoys swimming or dog parks, I'm also happy to take them on a fun adventure!

It was a pleasure meeting Emily and having her stay overnight to take care of our fur babies for a one day get away, She sent me pics of her and my pups snuggled up on the couch, took them for a walk, and let me know that things were going well. She was very responsive and I never had any concerns.
As always, Emily comes through with the last minute save to walk my crew! My pups love her and she takes such good care of them while I'm not there. 100% recommend Emily to take care of your crew as if they were her own❤ She always sends great updates and pictures (my favorite!!)
Emily was so great! She helped us last minute and out doggos were so happy the whole time :) will book with her again!

Emily was wonderful with my dogs and cat. This was the second time I used her and I will gladly keep using her. She was very helpful and kept me up-to-date with the pets. I had no worries knowing she was watching them.
