Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover and proud pet mom to two wonderful dogs, Lucy and Ellie. Lucy is a rescue with reactivity issues, so I’m experienced and comfortable working with pets who may need a little extra patience and understanding. I believe every pet deserves compassionate, reliable care- no matter their personality. Professionally, I have over 3 years of experience providing in-home pet care with a trusted small business in Helena, Montana. This included overnights, drop-in visits, and home care, giving me a solid foundation of hands-on experience to pair with my natural love of animals. I joined Rover to share my passion for animals with more families in our community. With a flexible schedule and a deep commitment to dependable, personalized care, I’d be honored to look after your furry loved ones like they’re my own.

Safety is critical to me, and I do everything I can to create a calm, secure environment for your pet. I take time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, compassionate care. Communication is key, and I’ll always keep you updated while making sure I can reach you quickly in case of an emergency. I also ask for your preferred vet’s contact info- just in case. I strongly advocate for appropriate leash usage and will never take your dog off-leash unless they’re in a securely fenced area like your backyard. Please let me know about crating routines, medications, or any behaviors I should be aware of. I’m here to make sure your pet is not only safe, but comfortable and well cared for every step of the way.

We were in need of a dog walker for our senior pup on relatively short notice. Emily was a pleasure to work with from the start - from arranging a meet and greet to responding to my inquiry quickly and helping me understand Rover, which I'd only used once before. We love Emily's check-in photos and updates - clearly Baxter was in great hands with a caring human. I'd absolutely recommend Emily to care for your pet. We will be a repeat customer.
Emily did a fantastic job! We highly recommend her and we will look to her as first choice for future pet sits! Our one pup was still in post TPLO surgery recovery and needed some special handling and considerations. Emily took on that task above and beyond our expectations. If you want to have a worry free time away from your furry family, Emily should be your first choice.

Emily is so responsible and sweet with our kitties- I never feel bad when we have to leave them!
Emily was awesome! She came over to meet our cat and see the house before our trip started, which gave us peace of mind after being able to meet her. She sent daily pictures and details of her visits, and we knew he was being very well cared for during our time away. We will definitely hope to have Emily care for our cat again in the future!
