I work remotely from 10:30am - 6:30pm Mon.-Fri. so I am home all day for you to leave your fur baby with during the week. I live with my partner Landen and we share a vehicle at this time, he takes it for work most days so in most cases I would need you to drop off/pickup.

I am accepting boarding at this time if you need a place to leave your furbaby while you go away. Landen and I both grew up with dogs and are animal lovers. In 2024 we fostered a 6 month old German Shepard pup. She was a stray and was completely shut down but we worked with her to gain her confidence. She made amazing progress after 7 months with us and was adopted to a loving family. We then found our own furbaby, Whiskey, a Shiloh shepherd and brought him home when he was 7 weeks old. We live in a house with a lovely yard, unfortunately unfenced, so pups stay on leash! There are endless trails and and places to swim (if your dog is into that sort of thing!)

I do appreciate knowing some background about your dogs behaviour and history beforehand. However I assure you I am good at reading behaviour in dogs and what to watch for.

I love to take dogs for walks and let them “read the newspaper” as I call it, which basically means that I don’t rush them past all the good smells if they want to take a sniff. A dogs sniffer can allow for a lot of stimulation for their minds, so I let them investigate like the little detectives they are. However, I do watch like a hawk to make sure they are not smelling anything of concern and I avoid lawns that have a fertilizer sign on them (your dogs health comes first). Plenty of time practising tricks, playing hide and seek and if they’re comfortable with it, lots of snuggles! All of this said, if you are boarding your dog with me and tend to worry about them while you’re away, you just let me know what you’re comfortable with! My only goal is to see to it that you and your dog are at ease during the separation.

Hello! I started my own pet sitting business when I was 11 by decorating my neighborhood with flyers for services such as dog walking, boarding and pet/house sitting. I continued providing professional pet care throughout elementary school, high school and university, and now. I enjoy familiarizing myself with animals on an individual level and letting them familiarize themselves with me. I exercise patience and compassion because I understand many animals suffer from separation anxiety from being away from their owners and also getting used to a new pet sitter. My goal is to create a calm and entertaining atmosphere for pets with walks, learning new tricks, playtime and snuggles of course.

Emily was super communicative and took amazing care of our puppy while we were gone. He was relaxed and happy. We didn’t feel at all worried about him! I’m sure Auggie can’t wait for our next time away so he can see Emily again.

Emily was fantastic! We got updates and pictures our entire time away and Kobe came home a very happy and tired pup! We will definitely be using Emily again in the future. We could not have been happier with our experience!
Emily was AMAZING! My dog is a finicky guy and she knew exactly how to care for him. She gave him meds as needed, played with him, gave me lots of updates and picture. My mind was certainly at ease and I could enjoy my trip to the fullest knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend!
