Animal care is my passion, hobby and love. I am available all day and allnight being gone only from 5pm-2am Wednesday-Saturday. If theres a specific feeding, or walking schedule: I will follow it as long as I am not at work.

Routine is important to limit stress of our beloved pets. I will stick to their routine and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed. I respect your home and will clean up any messes made. I will make the bed if I stay overnight, keep dishes clean, pick up toys, and sweep/vacuum. I make sure your pets environment is comfortable for them.

A typical day
I will love your pet like they’re my own. Walks around the neighborhood, mental stimulation with commands, playing fetch, playing with cat toys, playing in water- anything your pet likes/loves to do, I will do. Routine is important. I will ensure to maintain the routine you have set to limit the stress your pet may feel with you being gone.

Pet care experience
I am a Registered Veterinarian Technician at an emergency clinic. I have extended experience with animal care and am very knowledgeable in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and also a certified Fear free professional as well as Feline Friendly Certified. I will be sure to never make your pets feel uncomfortable and will take my time gaining their trust. I currently work Wednesday-Saturday 5pm-2am. I will follow all instructions for the care of your animals, I believe it is important to maintain their routine and confort. I will love them like they are my own. I am comfortable with any age of animal, medication administration's, and any species.

Just relocated to KC and needed a sitter on short notice. Elyssia was amazing with my 4 pups. I was very excited to find a vet tech available as 1 of my pups needed an injection while i was out of town. My pups loved her and were so tired from play when i got home. I would definitely use her again in the future.
If I could give zero I would…. Thank the lord for cameras because I guarantee you Elyssia is neglecting your pups without you knowing. We had Elyssia stay with our 4 dogs because they cannot be left alone which was highly stressed to her. I get a notification on my phone from my cameras and she had locked our dogs in the basement and left the house. After calling her saying how that is not okay, she went back to the house that she left unlocked and let the dogs out. There was pee everywhere, chewed trim, and part of a chair was chewed. It was not a good experience to say the least.
Elyssia was amazing with our pups! Our dogs instantly loved her the first time the met her. Highly recommend and will be using her again ?
Elyssia is a wonderful animal companion and caregiver. We were transparent with her about our pup being quite elderly, though spunky, and we have been managing so health needs. Elyssia was not hesitant and made sure our girl got all the attention, food, play and love she needed for our 2 week absence. We received daily text updates and fun pics. Our vacation was truly restful because we knew Elyssia had the experience and compassion to problem solve whatever came up. We also have built a strong trust of Elyssia is our home. She called herself the most boring young person (doesn’t party or drink) but you’ll find that she’s a bright person with a sparkle in her quick smile. She’s not boring she’s just a bit of a gentle old soul that appreciates the simple things.
