Hi, I’m Elyssa! I fell in love with dog sitting after helping family and friends care for their pups while they traveled. After losing my beloved Reggie just over a year ago, caring for other dogs has been incredibly healing. I’m not ready to adopt again yet, but I adore spoiling and loving on every guest dog and I treat each one like family. My home is calm, clean, and dog-friendly: a securely fenced yard, plenty of walking routes nearby, and comfy indoor spots to curl up. I’ve cared for everything from teacup poodles, to cuddly pitties, to large distinguished pups (I raised a rescue who grew to be 75 lbs), and I’m familiar with handling different energy levels, leash manners, and basic training cues. I aim to make boarding a vacation for both of you: I’ll follow your pup’s normal routine as closely as possible (meals, walks, sleep schedule, medications), and I’ll give as much or as little communication as you prefer. I strive to provide personalized care, daily attention, and comfy accommodations because you’re paying for peace of mind and a sitter who treats your pup like my own. I require up-to-date vaccinations and proof of flea/tick prevention. If you think we might be a good fit, let’s set up a brief meet-and-greet so your pup can check me out first. Elyssa is absolutely AMAZING! Thor took to her immediately, she had water and toys ready for him, a beautiful yard he ran around in, her neighbors dog was super friendly and greeted Thor at the fence, the first dog in over a year that liked him, it was all just so perfect. She sent me pictures throughout the day of him having a wonderful time and thor came home all tuckered out. Despite being a husky, Thor does NOT howl/talk to just anyone, but he did with Elyssa, and to me that speaks volumes. I’m so excited for Thor to go hang out with her again because he was just so happy and I feel so confident and at ease that he is in such wonderful hands. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my fur baby 🫶🏻

Harmonogram
I have a hybrid work schedule so that leaves Fri-Mon for your pup and I. I can accommodate Tues-Thurs bookings if your pup is comfortable being on their own for 8–9 hour workdays. Let’s chat during our meet-and-greet and make sure it will work for them.

I have a fenced yard, and a two-level house (we can avoid the stairs if they're not comfortable with them). There's plenty of routes around my home for long or short walks. If your fur baby prefers to just bath in the sun, my fenced front yard has plenty of space for that. If your pup is social, I’m happy to take them to a dog park near by, pup pub, or arrange supervised playdates with my friendly pup niece and nephews.

Let's curate a plan based on what your pup loves to do. Dog parks, there are plenty around me. Car rides, let's just ensure I have the right size harness and let's go. Cuddles on the sofa, no need to ask! Long walk, short walks, running around chasing a ball in the yard, pup store visits, you name it. We can be as active or as chill as your fur baby prefers.
