I work from home, so am on hand to care for dogs of all ages, all day! I have a 6 year old daughter, who is fabulous with dogs and understands boundaries, but for those who appreciate affection she is a most willing giver.

A typical day
Long walks, or short if preferred! Lots of time in the garden and I'm home all day for playing or just watching them sleep if they prefer a quiet space. We have a crate if they want some peace and like that, but they're welcome to nap in beds or on the sofa.

Growing up on a farm I have had dogs my whole life, mostly working spaniels. In later years I have owned dauschunds, labs and now a wonderful friendly Cockapoo called Olive. I’ve had all from puppies and each one had its own incredible, strong personality. I adore walking and do so for around one and a half to two hours per day as an average walk with my cockapoo, so provide a lot of exercise. My house has a large garden that is fully fenced and inescapable for the rest of the day.

Huw had a great time staying with Ellena and her lovely dog Olive. Huw can get a bit anxious when he's left with other people but on the second day he ran streight up to the front door, waiting to be let in. We were kept updated with some great photos of Huw keeping us feeling reassured that he was happy and in safe hands. Would definitely recommend and will be asking Ellena to look after Huw in the future

Olive had the most wonderful day with Ellena and her sweet, gentle pup. As a typically nervous dog, Olive often takes time to settle, but Ellena made her feel right at home. When we picked her up, she was calm, happy, and relaxed—such a relief for us! We are so grateful to have found Ellena and truly appreciate the exceptional care she provided.
