My name is Elke K. and I love animals of all kinds. I am the proud owner of two dogs that I rescued about four years ago from a rescue center, one here in Kentucky and the other I drove out to Chicago to rescue. My love for animals started at a young age when I received my first pet, a small white kitten from a family member and since then my love and compassion for animals has grown. I live here in Lexington with my three children who also share my love and passion for animals of all kinds. We currently have two dogs, a cat who we took in when the owner was moving and could no longer accommodate the cats needs, and lastly we own a leopard gecko. Everyday I walk my dogs, since I know the importance of walking is beneficial to my dogs wellness and also great exercise for me. I love going on long walks and can accommodate up to three dogs on a walk if needed. I have helped out families with a variety of animals for almost twenty years and also have experience with other animals such as fish, and hampsters. I found Rover.com when I was looking for a reliable sitter for my own fur babies and decided that this would be a chance for me to help other families that are looking for that same piece of mind that I need from a dog walker. I am available for drop-ins and dog walking in the later mornings and throughout the afternoon hours. I may also accommodate small animals to stay at my home when you are on vacation.
