Hello! I'm Eleanore, I’ve always connected really well with animals, and since I can’t have pets in my apartment right now, any chance I get to look after someone else’s is incredibly rewarding. I've had animals my whole life, and as a teenager helped take care of my neighbors pets while they were away. I also have volunteered with an organization to take care of pets while they are recovering from injuries and also to help train puppies in their process of being adopted. I like to tailor care to each dog's needs, whether that is longer walks and energetic playtime or something a bit more slow-paced, I want to make sure each dog I interact with gets the care they need. I always ensure I talk with clients about the most effective ways to interact with their dog, and I ask about any behavioral issues I should keep in mind during their care. I look forward to meeting your pets and caring for them soon!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always prioritize their comfort and routine. For drop-in visits, I make sure they have fresh water, feed them according to their schedule, give them any needed potty breaks, and spend quality time playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company depending on what they enjoy most. For walks, I ensure they’re safely harnessed or leashed, take them on routes they’re comfortable with, and give them time to sniff and explore. Overall, I aim to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, keep their environment clean and safe, and communicate regularly with the owner to update them on how their pet is doing.

Eleanore was great dog sitting for our goldendoodle, Lola. She was communicative, was on top of her care, and left the house in great condition. She even watered our plants!

As I am taking classes online, I have a very flexible schedule and am available and am available on both weekdays and weekends. From quick walks to playful sessions or simply providing a comforting presence while you’re away, I’m ready to care for your dog.
