Safety, trust & environment
I always begin with a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your fur baby (or babies!)—their routines, preferences, quirks, and any special needs. This lets me tailor their care so it feels familiar, comforting, and stress-free. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, they get to stay in the comfort and safety of their own surroundings, which helps keep their routine steady and their anxiety low. I provide attentive, loving care that includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks/litter care, medication (if needed), exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions exactly as you lay them out so everything feels just right for them. No matter the service, your pets are treated like family—with love, patience, connection, and attention to every detail.
Information Donna J. would like to know about your pet
Before I care for your pets, I would like to know their routine (food, walks, sleep), health needs, behaviors/triggers, safety concerns (escape risks, chewing, yard rules), house rules and access instructions, personality and comfort preferences, and emergency contacts and plan. This will help put both of our minds at ease.
A typical day
With dogs I will let them out, walk them if required, and feed as needed. I have one dog that likes to be chased so I chase him until we are both worn out. I am also a fan of sitting outside with dogs if the weather permits. When I sit cats I feed them and clean or change litter boxes (if needed), and play with them with their toys. If your pet unique needs I can accomodate those as well.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong pet lover whoI started pet sitting for friends & family - cats and dogs - five years ago and I discovered that I really enjoyed it. I've offered services such as drop ins, daily feedings (multiple times if necessary), cleaning litter boxes, and so on. I am great at playing ball with dogs who love chasing balls; I also play with kitties who like playing with toys. If your pet is shy I sit quietly in the floor and let them come to me. I understand that it could take a visit or two for them to warm up to a stranger.
