I’m a retired teacher and I am able to keep a flexible schedule. I welcome the opportunity to take care of your dog as I’m healthy, active & insured. I do require a meet and greet in my home before accepting a booking. I have owned many dogs in the past, and I now have a chocolate lab. June is really sweet. She gets along well with other dogs, and children. I live in a nice/safe neighborhood and have reliable transportation. I have a large fenced in area off the back of my house (deck and grass). I have stairs going from my upper deck to the lawn, so your dog will need to be able to safely navigate the steps. I only take one dog at a time unless they are from the same family.

Diane is absolutely wonderful! She took the best care of our big boy Cane. She communicates regularly with updates and puts your worrying mind at ease. She made Cane feel so comfortable as it was his first trip away from “Mom & Dad.” Her dog, June is sweet and played beautifully with Cane in the big fenced-in yard. I will definitely schedule Diane in the future for our pet-sitting needs and highly recommend her for yours.

My 9 year old baby loves his first stay with Diane while I had to leave for the weekend!! She kept me updated with texts and pics. And he was so well cared for. Can’t wait to bring him back.
I was a little anxious about leaving my 7-year-old dog with a non-family member for the first time in his life - and for six days at that - but Diane is great and made me feel at ease with it all. She's a retired school teacher and administrator with a big fenced yard in a very quiet neighborhood, and she kept me posted with regular communications over the six days. My dog had a great time with Diane and June (her dog), and I will DEFINITELY book Diane for future out-of-town trips whenever she's available. I could not imagine a better dog-sitter.
Diane is wonderful! She made the entire experience seamless with great communication and kindness. I’m so appreciative for the loving care our pup received this stay.

I have a large fenced in backyard that can accommodate ball play and daily fun outside play. I have a nice sun porch and decks that dogs love! I take only one dog at a time unless they are from the same family.
Pets
A typical day
I have a ball thrower, a chunk it type balls and a frisbee, so that we can play fetch in my large enclosed backyard. Also a few leash walks are good too!
