Since I can remember, I have always adopted stray cats and kittens, even though my parents were always against it. Finally, at fourteen, they allowed me to adopt four newborn kittens I found in a box outside. They became my children. I would wake up every 2-3 hours to feed and warm them, massage their bellies so they could digest properly, and give them the mom cat love they unfortunately missed. When they were mature and ready, I gave the three of them to adoption while keeping one who I called Stiglitz, after my favorite movie character. He still lives happily with my dad. Since I live with roommates now, we can't commit to having a pet together, but we want to give our love and experience to cats who need it while their owners are away (: My roommates and I both had cats in the past, so we know exactly what to do in any situation.
