I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and work in an office in San Luis Obispo Tuesday-Thursday. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly schedule. I’m already very active and spend a lot of time outdoors, so incorporating dog walks and hikes, is something I love to do before and after work. On WFH days, I can offer frequent check-ins, potty breaks, and companionship. On other days, I’m still available for scheduled visits, walks, or house sitting, and I make sure each pet gets their individual needs met.

I'm unable to do dog boarding at this time, I have a roommate who already has a dog so it wouldn't work to bring another dog into our shared home. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I will respect your boundaries to ensure that there is shared trust and understanding about expectations while I'm in your space.

I’m a longtime dog lover and outdoor enthusiast who brings over 15 years of pet watching experience. Whether your dog loves long walks, hikes, or playtime at the dog park, they’ll get plenty of exercise and attention on my watch. I’ve regularly cared for many different dog breeds in the past (Shar-Peis, Maltese, Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Pomeranians, Huskies, and German Shepherds, etc. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities and energy levels! Delaney is great! I would definitely recommend her! She cared for my dog Tilly while I was away. Great communication, she sent lots of pics and updates. She made sure Tilly was well-cared for and I felt like my dog and my home were in dependable and caring hands.
Delaney was amazing. My dog got sick while she was sitting and she notified me immediately and even went so far to clean up way beyond expectations. She was conscientious and very good in a tough situation. I’d definitely recommend her.
Delaney did a wonderful job with our active 1 1/2 year-old lab, as well as home. We highly recommend her and will use her again whenever possible.
Delaney took great care of my high energy aussie! She was also flexible to stay when my trip was extended.
