Since I was 10 years of age my Mum had a dog boarding business where I helped all through out the day and night to help it run smoothly. I now have my own well trained dog who’s friendly and loves to play but is gentle.

Our miniature schnauzer, Eliza, looked like she had a great time with Abi and Declan. They sent daily videos of her enjoying her walks with the other dog. Long walks across the fields and paddling in a stream! She was absolutely exhausted when she got back to us which is a sign of a good holiday! 🐾 Thank you!

Dec and Abbie were great! Communication was excellent and they took great care of our dear Bobby during the heatwave. Got lots of photos of Bobby in the woods and in the river :)
Declan was super friendly and flexible, really helpful and sent us daily videos and photos of our shihtzu Mario. We will surely look into rebooking with him for our next holidays.
Declan and Abigail were lovely and very good with our 2 dogs, who can be anxious. They sent regular updates to us. Our dogs were happy and v relaxed with them, and came back clearly having had a good time.

Schedule
Since working at a dog friendly pub after being a part of a family dog business for so long, my interest was always heightened when someone brought their lovely dog into the pub. Since becoming the assistant manager and now having my own dog, I want to help others by looking after their beautiful dogs as I hear the same issues all the time when people come in. “I wish you could look after my dog when I’m not around” so now I have taken what I know and want to apply it to help other people who need care for their dogs. By looking after them in a big dog friendly pub.

there will be two options within my doggy day care, the dog to be downstairs with my own and meet other dogs as they come into the pub to grow their socialisation skills further. Or for those who want a more laid back approach there are areas in the pub your dog can be alone and I can check in on and toilet when it fits your daily routine.
A typical day
I usually get an hours walk in around 10 then get back to the pub for 11 to use the big area to play with the dogs and teach them some tricks inside. Then they usually fall very tired around 12 as the pub opens and I crate them to sleep for an hour or two depending on the age. Then after I finish work I take them for the second walk of the day and drop them back home to the owner.
