I grew up with dogs and small pets and have spent many years providing hands-on, day-to-day care. I regularly dog-sit for friends and family and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve also volunteered with animal rescue organisations overseas, working with dogs in a variety of environments and situations. This has given me a calm, practical approach and the ability to adapt to each dog’s individual needs.

I’m respectful of your home and make sure your pet’s environment remains safe, secure, and comfortable at all times.

Darrin was very good with Mavis. He picked up on her cues very quickly and I could tell she was very settled when I got back each time. I would happily recommend him to anyone and will hopefully be using him again.

Darrin was brilliant! Our dog is a nervous rescue, but he instantly warmed to Darrin on first meet. He enjoyed his walk and came back very tired and content. Highly recommend and will definitely trust him with our dog for future walks and care.

Zeitplan
I’m retired, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can plan my day around pet care rather than fitting it in around work. Walking is part of my own daily routine, so dog walks and outdoor exercise fit naturally into my day. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to accommodate regular walks, daytime care, and overnight or extended house sitting. I’m comfortable handling both large and small breeds and can adjust activity levels to suit each dog’s age, energy, and needs.

- I like to arrange a meet-and-greet ahead of any booking so I can learn your dog’s routine, preferences, and any specific requirements. This also gives your dog the chance to become familiar with me and helps everyone feel comfortable before care begins. We can go over feeding, walking, medication, house routines, and anything else that’s important to you, so there are no surprises and your dog’s care stays consistent.
