Does your dog hate dogs? No problem
I’d love to be your dog’s friend while you’re away! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and been the sole caretaker of pets for about 15 years. I quit my corporate job about 3 years ago to work in animal rescue/animal care. I currently have 4 dogs of my own (I know, it’s nuts)who each come with their own issues and a cat. Because of this, I’m currently not available for overnight care. Two of my dogs are a mama dog (with severe anxiety) and one of her puppies (a crazy puppy) who was actually born and raised in our basement with her litter—then they just stayed. My other two are a dog reactive, large breed 14 year-old and a 7 year-old basset mix with multiple medical issues. So, in summary, I’m very experienced with animals of all ages/needs and in administering medications and subcutaneous injections if needed, as well as caring for sick, elderly or injured animals. I hope to hang out with your furry-kids soon!

This was the second time time that Darcy has stayed with our pup, and as usual it was fantastic. We loved her daily updates and photos -- it was clear she took such good care of our dog, as well as our apartment while we were gone. Thanks Darcy!

Darcy was great! She was very considerate of us and our sweet pup. She made time to come meet our dog and tour our home before the sitting to make sure she knew where everything was and didn't have any outstanding questions. Darcy sent updates and pictures throughout the stay and kept our dog very happy. We will certainly use Darcy again!
Darcy was great with Elwood. We appreciate all of her efforts in helping Elwood overcome his nervous challenges. He was in good hands with Darcy. We will definitely use Darcy again for dog sitting. Thanks Darcy!
Darcy was amazing! Not only did she help us out on short notice, she took the best care of our dogs. She was great with communicating throughout the weekend and sent lots of pictures. When we got home, the dogs were so happy and relaxed. We definitely plan on working with Darcy again!
Darcy was amazing with my tough pup! My dog is older and was having some pain, she went out of her way to pop by the vet's office, pick up pain pills and even stayed overnight to make sure my dog handled the meds well. She was super communicative throughout the whole trip! We cannot wait to use her again.
