Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and outdoor time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I enjoy being active and already take daily walks, so having a dog join me fits perfectly into my schedule. I can provide multiple walks during the day depending on your dog’s needs, along with lots of attention, companionship, and playtime. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m also able to keep a close eye on pets and make sure they feel comfortable and settled in a calm environment. Whether your dog enjoys being active or prefers relaxing and cuddling, I can easily adapt my routine to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for throughout the day.

When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can feel relaxed. I have a garden that provides a lovely outdoor space for dogs to get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy some time outside during the day. I also live close to several parks, which makes it easy to take dogs on regular walks and give them plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog enjoys long walks or shorter, relaxed outings, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and energy level. Inside the home, there is plenty of space in the living area where dogs can settle comfortably. The environment is safe and dog-friendly, allowing pets to relax, play, or rest throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m able to supervise them closely and make sure they always feel secure and cared for. My goal is to make every dog feel at home, giving them lots of attention, affection, and a safe space while their owners are away.

Finally, I appreciate knowing their favorite activities, toys, and commands so I can keep their routine as normal and enjoyable as possible while they’re with me. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged while they’re in my care. I live near Victoria Park, so I’m lucky to have beautiful green space nearby for long walks, sniffing adventures, and games of fetch. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll around the park, letting dogs explore and enjoy new smells, or a more energetic run for high-energy pups, I tailor activities to each dog’s personality and needs. I also enjoy spending quality time indoors with pets through play, enrichment games, and plenty of cuddles and attention. I’m happy to practice basic commands, play with their favorite toys, or simply relax with them so they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. My goal is always to make sure every dog feels safe, stimulated, and cared for, just like they would at home.

I have been caring for dogs for over 10 years and truly love being around animals. Growing up with dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I’m very comfortable looking after different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also previously worked as a dog groomer, which gave me hands-on experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of dog behavior and how to keep dogs calm, comfortable, and well cared for. I recently moved to London, but in my family home we have two beautiful dogs, a Samoyed and Pug who I absolutely adore. Being around them has taught me how important it is for dogs to feel safe, loved, and well cared for when their owners are away. I’m a huge animal lover and even attend Crufts every year because I genuinely enjoy learning more about dogs and spending time around them. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just some calm company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and happy while in my care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always treat your dog as if they were my own, with lots of attention, patience, and love.

I cannot recommend Darcy enough! This was the first time I’ve left Beans with someone new, and I was naturally a bit anxious. However, Darcy put me at ease immediately with their calm, professional energy. I received regular photo updates, which really helped me relax. It was clear Beans wasn’t just being 'watched'—they were being loved. I came home to a happy, relaxed pup. We will definitely be booking again!

My dog settled in with Darcey quickly and was clearly well looked after, happy and relaxed throughout. When I went to pick him up, he was in great spirits.
