I currently work from home full-time, so I’m able to spend lots of time on pet care, with playtimes, potty breaks, walks, and snuggles throughout the day!

I have a large fenced yard for playtime/potty breaks and typically take dogs for 1-3 walks per day, according to their needs. I have three dogs of my own - Elphie, Willow, and Piper - and they love to have friends over! I specialize in providing care for small dogs, but can also accommodate larger dogs as long as they are gentle and friendly with small dogs. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate dogs who use pee pads or dogs who mark indoors. All dogs in my care must be accustomed to peeing/pooping outdoors only. I’ve chosen to provide care for a small number of dogs at any given time; my typical maximum is one dog plus my own three dogs. This allows me to give each dog lots of individualized attention and to keep a close eye on all the dogs to make sure they are getting along well with each other. I will consider requests for two dogs from the same family for short stays on a case-by-case basis. For the safety of my own dogs and other dogs I care for in my home, I do not currently provide boarding or daycare for dogs who have a history of biting other dogs. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and not currently ill with any communicable disease. I’m very mindful of the health and safety of all dogs in my care and want to make sure that everyone has a great experience!

Please note that I am not able to accept bookings from new customers without an in-person meet-and-greet to make sure that your dog gets along with mine. I want to make sure everyone will have a good time! Please let me know in advance about any health problems or behavioral issues that your dog has, so that I can ensure that all dogs in my home have a great experience here. I’d like to know the details of their daily routines at home (when/how much do they eat, how many walks/potty breaks do they normally get, etc) so that I can provide continuity with their normal daily routine. I’d also like to hear about their favorite toys, games, treats, and activities!
A typical day
If you’d like for your dog to go for a walk, I can take them around my neighborhood, to Brown Avenue Park (down the street from me), or to Milton State Park (just a few minutes’ drive away). They can also roam around and play in my fenced backyard or sunbathe in the dog beds on the porch. I also am happy to play fetch or tug with dogs and to set them up with puzzle toys if that’s something they enjoy! I love taking pictures of dogs, so you can expect to receive lots of cute photo updates.

I love spending time with dogs! I’ve had several of my own dogs over the years and am the go-to dogsitter for many of my friends. I have experience working with puppies and seniors, as well as dogs with anxiety and reactivity issues. I’m able to administer medications (pills/eye drops) as needed.

Dannah was amazing. My dog presented some unexpected behavior for a bit, but Dannah handled it like the pro she is. She "gets" dogs, and she treated my dog like one of her own, which I appreciated so much.
This was our first time using Rover (and Dannah) for our dog Eli. Dannah was great. Through photos and texts she kept us informed about Eli's time with her. Eli was clearly having a great time--he preferred the furniture to the dog bed we brought--and there were regular walks around the neighborhood, to parks, etc. Dannah will be our first ask when the occasion again arises!
Dannah had my 2 fur babies for the weekend while I visited my son in MD. She has a very pet friendly home and a beautiful fenced in yard. Both my dogs loved their stay! Dannah kept me informed of their day with texts and photos. I definitely recommend Dannah with the care of your pets!
She is the best. My dog is an elderly dog and she truly cares. There’s no other like her.
