My partner, Carmen, and I have cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments over the years—from energetic puppies needing structure and patience, to senior dogs who just want a gentle walk and some company. We understand that every pet is different, so we adapt our approach to suit their pace, personality, and needs. We are confident in handling large breeds, administering basic medication, and managing pets with anxiety or special routines. What sets us apart is the balance we offer: calm, consistent care with plenty of affection and attention, backed by a responsible and safety-first mindset. We are not just here to ‘watch’ pets—we aim to make them feel settled, stimulated, and looked after while you’re away.

We cannot recommend Daniel, Carmen, and their family highly enough. They looked after our two pugs, Pepsi and Pancake, while we were away for our wedding, and the care they provided exceeded all our expectations. This was the first time we had ever left our babies with anyone other than family, so naturally we were a little nervous. However, Carmen and Daniel immediately put us at ease. From the start, it was clear how experienced, organised, and professional they are. Carmen carefully noted down each dog’s routine, needs, and preferences, taking the time to make sure every detail was covered. Their home was incredibly well set up for dogs, with toys, bowls, beds, and everything our babies could possibly need. It was obvious that caring for dogs isn’t just something they do—it’s something they genuinely love. Throughout the stay, we received plenty of photos, videos, and updates, which we always looked forward to. Seeing Pepsi and Pancake so relaxed, happy, and included in family life reassured us that they were having just as much of a holiday as we were. A special mention has to go to their youngest daughter, who absolutely loves pugs. The babies clearly adored her and quickly they become best friends! One of the most thoughtful things they did was send us a personalised wedding message and photo from Pepsi and Pancake on the morning of our wedding. It was such a kind gesture and meant so much to us on such an important day! What stood out most was the genuine affection the whole family showed towards our pugs. They didn’t simply look after Pepsi and Pancake they loved them as if they were their own, and as dog owners that means everything. We returned to two happy, content, and very well cared for pugs. We are so grateful to Daniel, Carmen, and their family for allowing us to enjoy our wedding knowing our babies were in such safe and loving hands. We would not hesitate to book with them again and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dog sitters!! Missy’s second time with Daniel and family and she loves it! She’s always so excited to see them, really enjoys the company and her stays. Great communication and Missy returns a happy girl. She is treated very well there!
I could tell Missy was going to love her time here from the first meet and greet. Daniel was kind and attentive and let Missy find her own way in her own time. She has just returned home after nearly a week’s stay and it seems as though she had the best holiday! Loads of attention, play, walks, cuddles from all the family, and I was so pleased at how well she got on with the other dogs who stayed. I couldn’t fault the stay, and the updates and videos were really nice to get and great quality - some amazing pictures! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Daniel and Carmen again and I bet Missy can’t wait!
Thank you so much to Daniel for taking Marley at such late notice for the weekend. His whole family was absolutely lovely and so sweet with Marley. He enjoyed some lovely walks with them and another dog they had staying, who Marley quickly became best friends and they were inseparable. I was completely confident in their care of Marley as they are very diligent and safety focussed as well as being fun and showing him a great time. He came home completely exhausted, which was a sign of a great weekend! On top of the great care they provided they also bathed Marley so he was all sweet smelling and clean when I collected him, as well as washing his blanket. Thank you so much; I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!
Tilly has just returned from her third - almost two week stay with Daniel, Carmen and girls.. As always, Tilly had a wonderful time, she’s so well loved and cared for. Tilly is a nervous dog by nature, but not with Daniel and Carmen who make her feel so relaxed, comfortable and safe. They really have become her extended family. We are provided with daily updates and lovely photos and videos which we appreciate very much. We would not want to leave Tilly with anyone else, she is looking forward to staying with them again very soon.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into our routine. We enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and having a bit of structure to our days—whether that’s heading out for a morning walk, playing in the garden, or unwinding in the evening with a pet by our side. I work from home most days, so I’m able to give animals the attention and consistency they need throughout the day—whether that’s feeding, exercise, or just good company. We live with our two children (aged 10 and 14), and we’re all animal lovers. Carmen is a former veterinary nurse with lots of hands-on experience, and our children have grown up around pets. They’re always excited to meet new animals, but they also understand the importance of being calm, respectful, and letting each pet settle in at their own pace. Looking after animals is something that we genuinely enjoy—it’s part of everyday life for us, and we do our best to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Whether we are welcoming a pet into my own home or looking after them in theirs, we prioritise creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that suits their routine. We take time to understand each pet’s individual needs—from feeding schedules and exercise habits to any medical or behavioural requirements. In our home, pets have access to secure outdoor space, a quiet spot to rest, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their usual routine as closely as possible, keeping their environment familiar and stress-free. I treat every pet with the same care, patience, and respect I’d want for my own.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning walk to get us both moving—whether it’s a quick stroll around the block or a longer outing in the park, depending on the dog’s needs and energy levels. After breakfast and a bit of downtime, I’ll mix in some light play, training reinforcement, or puzzle toys to keep them mentally engaged. If I’m working from home, they’ll be nearby with regular check-ins, cuddles, and comfort breaks. My partner Carmen is around during the day as well, which adds an extra layer of reassurance—especially for pets with specific needs. Our two children (aged 10 and 14) are also part of daily life and have grown up knowing how to behave calmly and respectfully around animals. They love helping out when appropriate, whether it’s some supervised playtime or joining us on walks. In the afternoon, we might go out again or have some garden time for fresh air and a sniff around. Evenings are all about winding down—maybe a short walk, some gentle play, and plenty of time to relax. I adapt everything to suit the pet’s age, temperament, and routine, but the goal is always the same: exercise, stimulation, and plenty of positive attention.
