I work well with all sorts of dogs. I do like to know their triggers ahead of time though so I can be mindful of what might set them off during a stay or a walk. If your dog needs any special attention during the walk so they can have the most fun please let me know !
A typical day
My favourite activities with dogs are spending time in the park playing fetch or learning new tricks. I really enjoy tiring out my four legged friends with time in the sun, or rain if they like water ! Having grass to run around on is always preferred for me so the risk of paws getting injured is minimised. My own furry friend has sensitive paws so I like to make sure all the pups I meet have a good safe time with me.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I started small with hamster and fish, eventually teaching myself to care for larger species through rigorous online teachings and experience. I work part time so that I can spend as much time working with and caring for animals as possible. Ideally taking care of at least 3 pets a day would be best case for me. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my home but I do have the knowledge and experience to crate fur babies when needed without causing them distress. I am familiar with getting animals of all domestic sizes into a state of calm for walks or sleep time or even cuddles after a long day of missing their folks.

D is awesome! If you need a sitter who pays attention to the details and cares about your pet's well-being, D is your person. D visited before our trip, asked good questions, and even administered a tricky medicine to our senior dog, even though our dog could have skipped for a day. We're so grateful and will work with D again in the future!
