Every dog has their own special personalities and needs. Most owners are very eager to tell about their dogs likes, and don't likes, fears , and special needs during separation from their owners. I have a special love for Australian Shepherds( especially mini's) , Labs, and Miniature Dachshund dogs but have found almost all breeds have lovable characteristics.

When indoors I will play with dogs with toys, snuggle with them, and give belly rubs . Many things to play on or just sit in the shade outside. I have two large areas the dogs I board stay in . I do not let dogs I sit interact with my personal dogs or any other dog I am sitting unless the dog and the dog owner wants their dog to interact with my personal dogs. I have a large 10'x5' enclosure in my Florida room with a loveseat and dog bed in side it. I have a office with an XL crate in it twin bed and dog bed on the floor. Each of the two enclosed boarding areas in my house are used when I am boarding dogs over night 10:30 pm - 6:30 am and if I need to leave the house to run some errands. I do this for the safety of the dog I am sitting. My home is a new environment they are unfamiliar with. I found it lowers the dog's anxiety to be in the crate when I am not around. I do not like for dogs to be in a crate and will only use it when I feel absolutely necessary for the dog I am sitting to be safe. The dogs I am boarding have access to the entire front area of my home to enjoy.
