I occasionally work from home so will be with your dog throughout the entire day when I am here. My wife (also a Rover caretaker) works from home full time and will also be able to care for your dog. You'll be able to meet both my wife and I prior to booking a visit. On warmer days, we can even leave the back door open so they can access the doggy door and go outside when they would like. I generally walk dogs around 4pm or so when I finish work. I'll ensure your dog gets a great walk, dinner and some rest and relaxation.

Having had dogs for 13 years, my house is well set up for dogs. My backyard is fully fenced and I live steps away from an off-leash area. I also live about 1km from Fish Creek so if your dog loves swimming, I'd be happy to take them there.

Please let me know of any doggy quirks so we can best prepare. I have lots of experience giving medications to dogs so please include that. My daughters are a bit younger (5, 8, 10) and although very familiar with dogs, it will be great to know if you dog has been around other kids.
Ein typischer Tag
The mornings will start with breakfast and a visit outside. From there your dog will hang out with me all day if working from home. If I'm working in the office, you are in luck as my wife (also a Rover caretaker) works from home full time and will be able to care for your dog. In the afternoon, I will take your dog for a walk according to your instructions (length, location, off/on leash etc). I'll then give your dog dinner in the afternoon (or as you instruct) and hang out before heading to bed. Our dogs slept in our bed for 13 years so I am happy to continue that (unless you are a strict no dog on bed family). I'll work with each owner to make sure your dogs' time with me is as enjoyable as can be.

I've been a dog lover all my life! I had two labrador retrievers for 13 years and unfortunately neither are with my family anymore. There's a huge missing piece in my house and that's a dog! My family and I aren't quite ready to get another family dog, so I'm hoping to take care of your dog and provide it all the love, care and attention that I provided my two dogs! Having cared for 2 dogs for many years, I am very experienced with all aspects of doggy care including puppy training, walks, bathroom breaks, and even giving medications. I will treat your dog as one of my own! I will provide daily updates including pictures and even videos if you'd like. Over the years my family and I had to rely on dog sitting many times while out of town so we know first-hand what's it is like to entrust your dog with someone else. I hope to make you (and your dog) as comfortable as can be knowing they are in a safe, caring home.

Craig and Ellen took amazing care of our dog Cali, she got lots of cuddles and walks and had a great time. They were also so accommodating for our pick up and drop off times and truly went above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend!
Craig and Ellen were incredible with our high energy dog Lulu. They truly went above and beyond taking her on all the walks and runs she needed, we felt comfortable knowing she was well taken after. They provided many photo and comment updates throughout her time with them. They looked after her like their own dog, even giving her a bath after she ate fish pills and had a bit of an odour. We will definitely be reaching out again for them to sit our dog, they are the best sitters we’ve had!
Super pleasant experience!! Above and beyond what we expected. Very timely communication and Ellie seemed like a very happy pup.
