Hi, I’m Cortney! 😊 I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my giant Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, leash handling, enrichment, and understanding different personalities. Since Kona is also reactive, I’ve learned how to safely handle dogs who need extra patience and space. I’ve also cared for cats for years and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, or a senior, I’ll take the time to get to know them and adjust my approach to what makes them feel most comfortable.

I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I love sending plenty of photos and detailed updates to help you feel connected and give you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety always comes first. On warmer days, I pay close attention to pavement temperatures and the weather. If it’s too hot for a walk, we’ll stick to a quick potty break and spend the rest of our time playing indoors or hanging out together.

Cortney did a great job looking after our cat pee Capri. She was very communicative and gave great updates on a daily basis and just provided a lot of love for our little sweetheart.
Left for a week on a trip and Cortney took great care of my 2 cats! Got daily updates on the cats and felt very comfortable with her in my home 💕

Cortney was fantastic! She did an amazing job checking in on my kitties while I was away, even managing to break them of their shyness and made them comfortable. She is definitely the cat whisperer and you can 100% count on her to take care of your pets. She kept us well informed and took the cutest pictures. Will definitely contact her again, and recommend to friends in the area.
We recently brought Cortney on as a partner for weekly walks with our pup, Stella. She has been thoughtfully collaborative, communicative and kind throughout our conversations and interactions. She's also incredible with Stella and has been great about getting to know her unique needs and preferences. We're looking forward to continuing to work with her!!
Cortney took amazing care of our Chihuahua, Shuige, while we were away in France for a week. She visited him every day, kept us constantly updated with lots of photos and thoughtful messages, and let us know how he was doing, what he ate, and how he was feeling. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. What impressed us most was how patient and kind she was with Shuige. He’s usually very shy and scared of strangers, but Cortney took the time to earn his trust and made him feel comfortable. Her communication was proactive, reliable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire week. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely recommend Cortney to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family. Thank you so much, Cortney!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and offer dog walks, drop-in visits, non-overnight house sitting, and extended daytime care in your home. I’m happy to work with you to create a daytime and evening care schedule that fits your pet’s routine, whether that includes walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. When available, I can also provide transportation to grooming appointments, daycare, boarding, or vet visits. Whether you need planned pet care or last minute help, I’m happy to help whenever I can!
