Safety, trust & environment
I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I do my best to make each visit feel familiar, relaxed, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I also love sending photo updates and visit notes so you can follow along and see how your pet is doing. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. On warmer days, I pay close attention to pavement temperatures and how each pet is handling the heat. If it’s too hot for a walk, I’ll prioritize a safe potty break and use the rest of our time for indoor play, mental stimulation, or simply keeping them company in the comfort of their home.
Information Cortney E. would like to know about your pet
The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! I’d love to learn about their routine, comfort level with new people, favorite treats, training cues, medications, any triggers, and anything else that will help me provide the best care possible.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor each visit to their individual needs. Visits may include walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, enrichment activities, or spending quality time with them while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. 🥰 Consistency is important, so I’m happy to follow any routines or training practices you’d like reinforced during visits. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, a senior, or anything in between, I’ll always care for them with patience, kindness, and the same attention I’d want for my own pets. 💜

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Cortney! 😊 I’m a proud dog mom to Kona, my giant Akita/Malamute mix. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with giant breeds, leash handling, enrichment, daily routines, and understanding different personalities and behaviors. Because Kona is also reactive, I’ve learned how to safely manage dogs who need extra space, patience, and calm handling on walks. I’ve also cared for cats for many years and enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique routine and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including dogs who may be anxious, shy, reactive, or need a little extra patience when meeting new people.

Reviews

Courtney is so helpful with my puppy, Claude. She’s extremely communicative and punctual, and my dog loves her. She went above and beyond what I expected and I feel that all my dogs needs were met. Claude can’t wait to see Courtney again 🐶

Cortney was amazing with our pup Rue!!! She was responsive and detail oriented and made sure to send us updates on how everything went! I came home from work to a happy dog! Definitely recommend booking with her!

Cortney was punctual and communicated well, and took good care of Panda on her walks! Panda gets scared of loud noises and Cortney put in the effort to coax her with treats to get her to do her walks as well.

Cortney was so sweet and helpful, and gave me great feedback about my dog. My dog is reactive and has lots of needs, and Cortney was very attentive. Thank you!!
