Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily routine. With a flexible schedule and remote work, I have time to provide attentive, consistent care for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, companionship, playtime, or check-ins, I ensure each pet receives the attention they need. Having worked with Blue Cross and other animal welfare organisations, I understand the importance of creating a calm, stress-free environment and maintaining a reliable routine for every pet in my care. I generally can do walks morning, lunch and evenings depending on the time of year.

With a remote and flexible schedule, I provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day, ensuring pets feel secure and well-cared for. Whether in my home or a pet owner’s home, I follow established routines, offering regular feeding, enrichment, and companionship. My home has plenty of space and pets are welcome on the sofa and have lots of 'doggy' sun spots in the house for relaxing. I have a gentle, senior spayed dog who is friendly with other animals. Located near a park, canal walks, and open fields, I offer ample outdoor exercise near by. If you'd like me to arrange time at a near by enclosed doggy park for safe, off lead exercise I can arrange this with you.

I only ever accept one booking at a time so your doggy will get 1:1 care alongside my girl Ciara. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. With years of hands-on experience in animal welfare, including work with Blue Cross and other animal welfare organisations, I’ve developed a deep understanding of pets’ needs, behaviours, and well-being. My experience fostering has given me valuable insight into caring for pets with different personalities, backgrounds, and needs—including those who may be anxious, shy, or require extra patience and care. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind when you are away and I take pride in creating a stress-free environment where they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Your doggy will be a part of our family and my home is their home. My approach is calm, reliable, and tailored to each pet’s personality—whether they love cuddles and playtime or prefer quiet companionship. I also have experience with feeding routines, medication administration, and enrichment activities to ensure pets stay happy and engaged. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own—with kindness, patience, and respect. I have a local park and lovely walks on the doorstep for adventures and lots of sniffs. For older doggies we can do slow (or very walks too!)

Clare was very responsive throughout the booking and introductory process and arranged a walk to meet my dogs to assess their suitability. We also booked in an overnight stay which went very well, overall Clare has been professional and personable. Clare is clearly a dog lover and took great care of my two dogs. They were happy and relaxed in her home. I would definitely use her services again as my dogs were very well looked after by Clare and Ciara. Photo and video updates provided regularly for peace of mind.
Clare was absolutely brilliant, we had a meeting before anything was confirmed to ensure Ciara and Leo were comfortable with one another and we were happy to proceed. We had lots of photos and updates while we were away and were totally at ease as this was the first time we’d left Leo with someone that wasn’t family. A great experience would definitely recommend!
This was the first time our 5 year old collie stayed with someone else, and its fair to say she loved it. Photos and updates every day from Clare, which were very much appreciated, and we could see she was going out on walks and generally relaxing in Clares care.
