I have also worked around pets as volunteering or at a kennel, I did not stay at the kennels long however I did get some experience and knowledge that helps me outside of that work place. We do not have a fenced in yard but someone is usually always home, if not we do not leave for long periods of time. Your pet can have some privacy if needed as well to adjust to a new environment :-)

Schedule
I am home most of the time, except occasional errands or getting out of the house. So your pet will not be left alone for long periods of time.
