When it comes to the specifics of caring for your pets, I tend to keep their routines and habits as close to what their typical day looks like when their parents are home. This ensures that they feel comfortable and safe and typically eases a lot of that anxiety they may experience when away from their family members.

It’s always good to know if your pets are friendly or not with other people and animals. I take precautions either way but, knowing if a pet is reactive will better prepare me for any reactions. Please also be sure to keep me aware of any medical needs your pets may have! I have experience with medications but I am also always willing to learn whatever necessary to best take care of your furry friends.

I love to go on trail walks and hikes if your pup is into that! Dog parks are always fun for both owners and pups if they’re trained to be off-leash. As far as play at home, running around in the yard and playing while also throwing in some treats for good response to commands is always so fun and rewarding! I’ve also started to dabble in dog-training and if that’s apart of your fur baby’s routine, I would love to practice and expand those skills.

I have been surrounded by animals pretty much my entire life and caring for fur babies is one of my biggest passions. My experience includes, of course, cats and dogs of all ages and stages of life; but birds, small critters and outdoor animals like chickens, ducks, and goats are on the list as well. I have especially grown a love for taking care of neonatal kittens (which seem to have a schedule as intensive as human newborns) and farm animals. I also have a bit of experience with administering meds and assisting with bathroom needs whether it be due to age or disability.

I am a first time dog care Mom so there was some angst with leaving my fur babies. I feel so blessed & thankful to have crossed paths with Christine! She stayed in my home with Allie & Jinks. She was very communicative right from the booking, asking questions that would help her to know my babies needs & schedule. She sent photos & videos daily. It didn’t take my nervous, fearful chihuahua very long to warm up to Christine’s soft calming demeanor. Allie has looked for Christine in the room she was staying in the last two mornings! Jinks is a sensitive affectionate boy & who loves nothing more than being near the people he trusts. Christine gave him lots if snugs & lap time! My home was left clean & tidy. I highly recommend Christine as your fur baby caregiver!
We are so lucky to have found Christine, she was wonderful & our dog had a great time with her. She was very sweet & communicative, helped with a house issue unrelated to the dog sitting, & followed up professionally. Thank you for taking care of our baby & our place - we were able to enjoy our time away even more, with the peace of mind she left us with!
Jenson took to Christine immediately which is always a good sign. She was very quick to respond to messages and kept me fully updated. He seemed super happy and didn’t seem to have missed us at all while we were away. Also, the house was lovely and tidy when we returned.
Christine really listened to our needs and followed through. Her kind and thoughtful care put our minds at ease while we traveled. We can’t thank her enough!
