A Loving home away from home!
I have cared for the pets of friends and family as needed for many years. Having pets my entire life-big,small,feathered & furry, I know it is hard being away from them and finding someone to love them just as much as you do. Every dog is welcomed as one of our own with snuggles, scratches, lots of love and attention, and the occasional home made dog biscuit! I am also available for guinea pigs! Every other week I am home full time, my schedule varies but usually isn't an issue. Most weekends we're hanging around the house doing yardwork or relaxing outside. Whenever we are outside, we want our/your dog to be with us. Whether it be throwing a ball, taking walks or just relaxing and getting some fresh air and sunshine our/your dog won't be left to sit in the house. We'll go for walks in the rain, sun, snow and dark (glow collar worn). All pets that we care for are treated as one of our own. We live in a rural area with just under an acre to play in (unfenced). Polly is our beagle terrier mix that loves having friends over. Dogs are welcome to sleep on the bed with the kids or we set up beds for them throughout the house. If your dog doesn't/can't do stairs, no worries-the kids take turns sleeping in the room the dog has chosen as their bedroom so they don't feel alone. Having the pups feeling safe, comfortable and loved is our priority.

Christal was so nice and communicated with pictures and updates of my dogs. You can tell she really cares about puppers!
We felt comfortable leaving our dog Layla with Christal. She walked her and played ball with her. She also sent us photos which was a really nice touch. We would use Christal for dog sitting again in the future.

Our typical day starts with getting everyone up and ready for the day- first thing is outside time for morning sniffs and doing doggy business. If its a school day we walk to the bus stop and then continue though the neighborhood. Throughout the day we play tug, toss a ball around or just sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Most walks are around the neighborhood, we're in a rural area-sometimes we'll venture to the lake front or somewhere different. There are trails in the middle of our subdivision that we go exploring on for different scenery as well. If needed, I'll get up in the middle of the night to take out for potty breaks and the pup will be on a leash at that time.
