Obviously, its important to know the basics, food and water schedule, along with times you typically walk. If theres any medication that needs to be given, step by step instructions ensure I administer correctly. I would also love to know if the parents are okay with fields trips, and to what extend that includes: does it mean a walk in the park, or a longer excursion to the beach? And if there is comfortability with that, its important for me to know how you usually take the pups in the car.

A typical day with a pet I'm watching includes a good mix of fun, care, and comfort! I always start by making sure they’re fed, have clean water, and get plenty of attention. After that, there is not really a "typical day" it all depends on the pet, and its needs during that time—it might be a long walk, some playtime with toys, a visit to the park (as long as the parents approve), or just lots of cuddles on the couch. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and never bored. Whether it’s fetch, a sunny nap, or a gentle brush-out, I focus on keeping them happy and relaxed while their humans are away.
