I work from home so I'm able to be with your fur buddy all day, every day. Only time I might leave is if I need to run an errand but I usually wait until my husband is home so your fur buddy is never left alone.

I have a large field right next to my house that's great for walking dogs plus a fenced in patio, great for lounging on nice days. I have 2 cats at home that are always shy at first but come around after a couple hours

I will need to know a dog's personality. Do they prefer to be alone or do they like being around other dogs? Are they ok around children as the nearby park I use for walking dogs often has families there with small children. Are they up to date on their vaccines?
A typical day
Being in Lenexa I have the benefit of having the beautiful Sar Ko Park right next door that's an excellent place to walk dogs. I've even seen some people walk their cats there. There's also a dog park just 3 miles from my place that's a great place to take dogs to play.

I've always had a love for animals. Growing up on a small farm I've had the good fortune to have helped raise everything from cats and dogs to horses and chickens as well as helping my mother with her own pet sitting business for many years while in college. I also have some experience with birds like budgies and cockatiels and had 3 fancy rats. And I'm always looking to learn more about pets of all kinds. But what I have the most experience in is dogs. Growing up I had German shepherds, Australian shepherds, Maltese, Yorkies, and Havanese of all ages from newborn to senior. I've dealt with wild and high energy dogs as well as scared rescues and epileptic dogs who needed extra special love and attention. I'm hoping to be able use my experience and love for animals to help others care for their own beloved furry family members when they can't be there.

My cat had not been away from our home since she first arrived and I was concerned she would not do well at the pet sitter's. Charity's calmness and experience with animals made it possible for Ruby to survive her first night in a strange place.

Charity was fantastic to work with and did an amazing job taking care of & loving our pup. We're looking forward to her hosting again next time we go out of town.
