I’ve been around dogs my whole life, especially working dogs. My dad was a K9 handler in law enforcement, so I grew up learning how amazing and capable dogs can be when given the right structure and love. I’ve taken a puppy training course at Logan Haus Kennels where I learned how to imprint behaviors in young dogs, and I even got a Belgian Malinois puppy from them that I trained in basic obedience. It was a fun challenge and a great learning experience. Right now, I volunteer as a dog walker at Companions Animal Center, and I actually adopted my own pup from there, a beautiful all-black German Shepherd, who’s been the perfect companion. I currently just got out of working in law enforcement, and my dream is to eventually work with dogs full time. Until then, I’d love the chance to help care for yours! Whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m also an avid runner, so if you have a higher energy dog that needs a faster paced outing, I’m more than happy to take them on a good run!
