I am an experienced animal rescue volunteer and medical foster for both dogs and cats. I can provide loving care and special needs for your family. I am experienced with giving medications to both dogs and cats, including shots. I will walk your dogs, play with them, cuddle them and whatever else they like. If they need a brush or bath I can provide that as well. Cats I find seem to accept me (even if they are skiddish) when their owners are gone. I will also play with, groom and love on the kitties, if they are comfortable. I have worked in a professional office and have a graduate degree. I have my own dogs, cats and potbellied pigs. I also have experience with birds, reptiles and tropical fish. I don’t overbook so I can give your pets the best level of care. I will update you daily on their progress with pictures (unless you would rather not think about home while on vacation). I am also willing to do extra tasks while you are away (water plants, pick up mail, light housekeeping). I do offer hourly rates for sitting dogs with separation anxiety (constant supervision) or cats with medical needs. If I am not booked for housesitting, I will accept boarders and doggy day care for small and medium dogs. To have dogs in my home they must be ok with cats and other dogs. I also have a spare bedroom I can board cats in so they are not around the dogs. I am comfortable doing drop in visits on short notice, if you have a key box or digital entry. This works best for cats. I will always do a free meet and greet if preferred (and recommend for dogs). Lastly, if you are like me and have many pets in your household and worry about an excessive bill, please message me and we can see what we can work out for a rate. I hope we can work together soon!
