Pet care experience
Animal lover with kids, dogs & cats
Our house is available for pet sitting, walks, check ins, and fostering. Our team consists of one adult and 2 children. We have 2 cats as permanent residents. Currently also fostering a litter of kittens. We baby sat a Beagle, named Bart, for 7 weeks while his owner went to the East Coast. We have also watched several other dogs and cats for longer stays while their owners ventured abroad. They became part of the family and we took them everywhere (school drop offs, walks, hikes, coffee shops, pet stores and more). We would love to walk and/or check up on your pets. Our favorite hiking & walking spots are around the Silver Lake Reservoir, the abandoned zoo trails in Griffith Park and Fryman Park (near Coldwater Cyn). We also love to walk the LA River around Frogtown. We come with treats and plenty of hugs. I am an artist working from my home studio and will be able to give your pet all of the love and attention they need during the day. I let your pets run free in my home. They can intermingle with my other pets and play with my kids. My kids and I love to play with a variety of animals. When we go out for long walks, we bring treats and water for the journey.

Cathy took great care of our PitBull in her own house during our 5-day getaway to San Francisco. She took Toulouse on daily walks and was diligent with sending photos several times a day. The only thing I will do differently the next time around is I will bring Toulouse’s bed to her place, so he doesn’t get nervous and fidgety at night. We had forgotten to bring his bed along but Cathy graciously lent Toulouse one. Dogs, like people, are creatures of habits and they sleep better in their own bed. Cathy took Toulouse everywhere with her, her teen boys were playing with him, giving him treats, and that was a bonus. Thank you, Cathy!

The only reasons I’m giving her two starts is because she did keep in touch frequently and was communicative. But my kitty came in with flees after her care.
Cathy did a wonderful job looking after our kitty Franklin. He’s 7months old and this was our first time boarding him. But Cathy shares lots of pics and updates with us. And it looks like Franklin had a great time with her kiddos! Thanks Cathy!

My flexible daily routine includes walks, play, feeding, litter care, cuddles, and companionship—keeping dogs active, healthy, and happy while ensuring cats are comfortable, secure, and cared for with full attention to their individual needs and routines..

Pets enjoy a secure fenced yard, air-conditioned comfort, and separate rooms if needed. Cats are always kept indoors. I provide a safe, trusting environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and at home.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day for dogs involves lots of walks. I typically walk around the Silver Lake Reservoir or we go to Fryman Park. For older dogs or on hotter days, we do shorter walks on the street. When my kids get home from school, they love to play fetch with dogs and chase them around the house. For cats, a typical day involves them lounging around the house. We like to play with them with feather toys, strings and laser pens. All animals will get plenty of love, hugs and kisses.
