I have had pets my entire life and on top of that, I have taken care of the pets of family, neighbors, and friends for a few years. I have trained my personal dogs for years and helped a few friends with training tips. I work a flexible schedule so most hours are available for me. Your pet will get all the time it needs to exercise and be cared for. Walks and drop in visits are very flexible and I am able to make most times. I make sure I am attentive to any of the pet's needs. I love having a chill afternoon on the couch if your pet is a couch potato or taking the more active dogs out on runs and walks. I am careful to pay extra attention to any allergies to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Carter took great care of George - took him on walks, fed him and played with him. Highly recommended!
Carter really likes my dog and I know she likes him too because she willingly goes with him lol! Carter is trustworthy and takes his walks seriously. Hire him!
Right away Carter bent down to be at my dog’s level and started loving on her. And Opal responded to this with giving him licks!! What a great sign!! Carter responded right away to Rover query, was polite and kind and genuinely into walking my dog. He’s an ace in my book!!
Carter is the best! He was prompt and great with my Rusty. I will definitely use him again.
Carter was an absolutely perfect 10/10 sitter. We had never used Rover before and when put in a position to find a sitter at the last minute were anxious to find someone we could trust to (a) care for (our 4-legged furry daughter and (b) stay in our apartment while we were across the country! Carter responded to my inquiry within minutes, and offered to come over for a meet & greet to ensure both myself and Lani felt comfortable with him. Lani is friendly but doesn't take right away to everyone so we were prepared to meet with multiple prospective sitters. Here in Santa Monica there are an abundance of reputable options on Rover, however 15 minutes into the meet & greet my girlfriend and I knew we had found the one. Lani immediately warmed up to him and was so excited for her weekend playdate as we walked out the door. He took excellent care of her while we were away, and left our apartment in the same if not better condition than we left it. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we will absolutely be booking him again in the near future!
Carter is so great! He’s loving with Bubbles, available at times on short notice, follows all requests and house rules, and sends lots of pictures with feedback! It makes it easy to leave my furry loved one with him!

- I need to know any allergies the dog has just to be extra safe. I also enjoy knowing their favorite toys to play with as well as their favorite outdoor activities. If they’re more of a chill and relax dog that’s great too!
