I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun!

I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

Carol took Nora while we went to the botanical garden. She played with her and kept her safe so we could enjoy our time in the gardens. I wish we could take her with us every time we travel ?

I highly recommend Carol to care for dogs, children, any animal actually! I know she is my sister but I do know her the best. We are both dog lovers. She cared for my dogs and kids when I travelled and I didn't worry for a minute. I've also spent a lot of time with her and her own dogs over the years. Dogs just love her. She is playful, kind and firm, and very responsible. She's the best!
I can’t think of a more perfect dog sitter than Carol Ortlip. No matter the size, breed, temperament, she somehow is able to burrow into their canine psyche and discover just what it is the particular dog needs. She is very much an outdoorsy person, so long walks and hikes are always in the mix. Smaller, shyer dogs can sit comfortably with her, she can be both exuberant and intimate. She has sat for 3 of our dogs over the years, up to weeks in length, and whenever we come home and she departs, I know I am a disappointment in comparison. You can’t go wrong with CO!

Zeitplan
I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well.
