I work from home so I just need wifi. I love being with the dogs and making sure they are happy and healthy and I try to be their surrogate mum :)

If you have any special needs or specific things you need to tell me about your dog please do. I have seen most behaviours having spent so much time in animal shelter environments working with dogs from lots of different backgrounds.
A typical day
I go running and if possible will take dogs running with me, if not walking is great. I hike with my partner and am working on getting fit. If your dog is low energy I will ensure to lightly exercise him or her and then run by myself.

Pet care experience
I recently moved to Aberystwyth so had my profile on hold for a few months. I am now looking for clients in the area. I worked for lots of different animal welfare orgs as an animal carer for many years both in the UK and in Australia. Over the years I've worked with horses, pigs, sheep, goats, llamas, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles (snake handling) and even fish. I treat each and every individual animal as my new best mate. I have a real connection with (most) animals. I get them and they get me. However, I know it takes time to get to know some pets and you know your animal better than anyone. I am trustworthy, kind and respectful of your home and the rules and routines you have in place for your pet and I am dependable and loyal (just like a dog lol). Thanks :) Carla xx

Carla was fantastic in all aspects, our 2 dogs loved her. She kept us updated but it was clear they were absolutely fine being left for the first time. Will be booking Carla again :)
Carla is an absolute godsend. Going to be really hard to put down a review that does her justice. Like many of you, trusting someone with your dog is really scary. This is our first time using a sitter and it was really tough for me. But all that melted away when Carla came to meet my boys. The way she was with my senior boy made all those fears melt away. He passed away before she came to sit for us and she was so lovely about it and said she was privileged to meet him ❤️. She’s amazing with my young boy, cuddles, walks and has him sleep in the bed with her. Archer looks forward to us going on holiday I’m sure! There’s nothing better knowing your house and dog is in good hands and you get that with Carla. I hope Carla always does this because I can’t imagine using anyone else ☺️, so I’m leaving a great review because she’s so epic but secretly hoping she doesn’t get too popular 😂
