I am currently working part time at a Staffie rescue which means I have plenty of time to look after your animals too! My working hours tend to be 7am-12pm so I can work around those a lot of the time and I only work a couple days a week.

I can provide dog walking, sitting and cat sitting. Cat sitting involves a few visits a day to make sure they are fed and to provide cuddles. Dog sitting includes staying in the home to provide all the attention the dog needs and includes walks.

What days and time I will need to be there and also if they’re very playful or if they are a little bit lazier. I will also need to know how many walks they have a day and usual length of walks, as well as reactions to other dogs.
A typical day
While looking after your dogs, I will feed them, we can play games and go on walks to nearby areas or places further away as I can drive and transport the animals. I can also bath pets if everything is provided, and if requested. Looking after cats, I will pop in a couple times a day to feed them and can play with them if they are a playful cat or give them lots of loves if they're more of a lap cat. I can also let them in and out if they're an outdoor cat.

Pet care experience
Animals are a big part of my life. I’ve had many animals in my life and have experience working with animals such as dogs, cats and rabbits, through my volunteering at an animal sanctuary, and my job at a Staffie rescue. I have 1 dog (an American bulldog), a cat, crested gecko and snails. I love seeing new animals and it would be great meeting all kinds of new breeds. I think I would make a great pet walker/ sitter as I would care for your pets just as I care for my own animals as I understand that your pets are your family. Being an animal lover all I would like to do is let your animals have a great walk or stay in their own home and I hope to do that!

Carla was prompt with answering and visits were easy to set up. Our cat and house were safe and happy on our return. Will use again and recommend.
Carla regularly walks our 45kg American bulldog who is normally reasonably obedient, however at times can be quite strong and pull. Carla is more than capable of managing her even when she does this.
