McLaren Park's Tiny Explorers Club
In January I started fostering a small dog named Mei Mei — and I can't get enough. We've been going on sniff adventures at McLaren Park, getting her exposed to new people, places, and experiences, and honestly she's made me wonder why I waited so long. I'd always been a cat lady, a little nervous about the responsibility a dog would bring. Mei Mei changed all of that. With a little patience and a lot of boiled chicken, she's adjusted beautifully with Jaggs, my resident cat — and watching them learn to share space and actually get along is one of my proudest moments. Mei Mei and I have been exploring McLaren Park together and we're ready to bring more dogs along for the ride. That's exactly how the Tiny Explorers Club was born — small and medium dogs, big adventures, and all the sniffs McLaren Park has to offer. Beyond adventures, I also offer boarding at my home, drop-in check-ins with walks and photo updates, and house sitting — whether you need someone to pop in or stay overnight, I've got you covered. Your pet's routine stays intact and you'll always know how they're doing. Small or medium, your dog has a standing invitation. 🐾

Carina is very lovely and was very great with our dog! She was very patient and sweet with him. Would definitely trust and recommend her.
Carina has helped me with dog walking and dog sitting my deaf Dalmatian, and I would highly recommend her as a pet caregiver. She is incredibly responsible, attentive, and genuinely loving toward animals. She even had the patience to teach my deaf dog a new trick—giving a high five. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care.

Schedule
I have a lot of flexibility and I genuinely love getting out to McLaren Park, so walks and adventures aren't something I fit in between other things. They're the thing. If your dog is with me, we're going outside. If your cat needs a check-in, I'm there. No rushing, no squeezing pets in between a packed calendar.

Every pet that comes through my door gets treated like family — but their family, not mine. That means I stick to their routine, their feeding schedule, their quirks. I'm not here to change how they do things, I'm here to make sure they barely notice you're gone. For dogs, that means real outdoor time — we're talking McLaren Park walks, fresh air, and proper adventures. Not just a quick trip to the backyard. My house has a yard for downtime between walks and a calm, cozy environment to decompress. For cats, I keep everything consistent — feeding times, litter, their favorite spots. Cats notice every little change and I respect that. You'll get regular photo updates throughout the day so you can actually relax while you're away. No news is good news, but I'll send news anyway.

A typical day
Sniff adventures to McLaren Park where we get to explore trails, meet other doggy friends and enjoy nature while getting our steps in. If there's any activity you'd like in particular, just let me know and I'm sure we can work on including it!
