I currently work full time from 10am-7pm on the days that I work. M-F one week, Tue-Sat every other week. I’m absolutely capable of working outside of those hours as long as it’s not conflicting.

However the owner prefers for their pet to be cared for is how I will care for them. In my own home, my pets get plenty of playtime and loving. They’re carefully watched and I don’t let them too far out of sight.

For the fun dogs, we can play with toys, balls, fetch or tug of war, etc. For those that are a bit on the chill side, I will provide plenty of belly rubs, scratching, cuddles or even space.. whatever your pup needs to feel comfortable. I also prefer to help train or correct the dog in areas of need. I love to see how many commands they follow and with acceptance of the owner will reward for good behavior!

I have high regard for animal lives and treat them as any human would like to be treated. The bond I like to create with each animal is similar to that of a parent/child or older/younger sibling. Meaning I’m committed to make each and every pet feel comfortable, happy, nurtured with love and care, healthy and treated like family. Check my availability so I can be there for your needs. I’m committed to my own health and adventure as well, so walking is a win/win for your dogs and myself. I currently have 2 amazing, lovable dogs (Labrador Retriever and Pitbull) and 1 dog (Doberman) at my parents home that I occasionally care for as well. So I have plenty experience with medium and large sized dogs. I’ve cared for smaller dogs as well, just prefer larger ones as my own. So any sized dog is OK with me! I adore them all! We also currently own 1 chinchilla and 4 frogs. We have had a turtle, snakes, and cats in the past. Our pets adore each other and are so much fun. I have lots of experience over the last 20 years. I would be absolutely ecstatic to care for your pets when in need! I am more than willing to care for your pet(s) at your home and follow your guidelines, do drop-in visits, or just simply take them on an adventurous walk! Let me know what you want and I’ll save the day! =) I look forward to making new fur buddies!!!

Excellent job caring for our two cats while we were gone, as usual! We loved all the pictures and updates! Best cat-sitter ever!

Candace was great! She was flexible with our reservation, as our plans changed a few times. Our cat warmed up to her quickly and we could tell from the daily photo updates she was well cared for! We will definitely use Candace again when needing care for our pets!
Candace was awesome with our four cats home together for the holiday. She was flexible and accommodating for our last minute trip and came over to meet the cats the same day we booked her. She sent detailed updates and photos during her drop-in visits. We adopted a cat family during quarantine, so they are shy with new people, but Candace was great with them.
