I work full-time as an architectural designer (9-6, Mon-Fri) in person and am pretty attached to my computer all other days. I love remote computer work because I am able to stay home with my dog (I WFH Mon+Fri), so I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to also stay home with other people's pets too! Additionally, I stay pretty active so I welcome any opportunity to get steps in with dog walking or a visit to the dog park.

I now live in a small studio apartment in DT Oakland - but frequently take walks into the downtown are for coffee or boba. Although my apartment is small it is very clean and cozy! Perfect for smaller animals that need quite safe spaces. For client homes, I ask for instructions/notes during intake and base what I do off that. But I make sure everything is always safe, clean, and tasks are taken care of properly.

Ein typischer Tag
Short walks or long walks around DT Oakland, commuting to the office (with Bubby), playing with toys, walking in more public areas (helps keep dog busy and practice good behavior in public), and lots of cuddles and napping together. I also take my own dog on bar and bus to venture into the city - he loves it! All these activities of course depend on the individual dogs and what their owners want for their care.

I grew up in the country of Hawaii, where my family always had many animals, ranging from exotic and farm animals (chameleons, pigs, birds) to normal domesticated animals (dogs, cats). I worked professionally in 2020 as a dog walker/sitter, where I helped train and care for dogs and cats. Due to my calm demeanor, I often watched animals who had previously experienced human neglect and sometimes needed special care such as administering medications. Currently I work full-time as an architectural designer and have my own dog (a pug) named Bubby! I am a detailed oriented, responsible person who would love the chance to help take care of your pets! It is more than a job to me - I love bonding with animals and caring for them! I welcome any questions you may have about myself or my work experience. Im also happy to hop on a phone call interview if you are considering me as your pet sitter.
