I was born into this world with family pets by my side and haven't been without one since! I grew up with our indoor/outdoor cat, Kitty, and our beloved miniature schnauzer, Max, followed by our two English Bulldogs, Jiggs & Rufus, followed by our rescued collie-shepherd mix, Macy. I adopted my own domestic, indoor, housecat 14 years ago from the Racine Humane Society, which makes him a super senior, now. In 2015, I adopted my very best dude, a big, goofy, bulldog mix, from my local humane society, and he is also considered a senior now. My cat was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease years ago and my dog was recently diagnosed with Cushing's Disease this year, so I am no stranger to special diets, medications, and vet visits. My dog also went through a lot of separation anxiety in our first couple of years so I know how tough that can be on all parties. Outside of my own, both of my brothers and my mom have dogs and cats that I spend time with and pet sit from time-to-time. In my previous town, I would also care for my friends' cats when needed. Additionally, I was an active volunteer at my previous local humane society. All-in-all, I love animals and will treat yours as well as I treat my own :)
